Submitter Biography:
Originally from Mexico City but having lived her entire life in Guadalajara, Paola is a storytelling enthusiast. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Arts from the University of Guadalajara, specializing in directing, editing, and motion graphics. She is a partner and co-founder of Escena Cuatro, a production house dedicated to creating commercial videos. For over 10 years, she has developed creative concepts, directed, and produced various audiovisual products for brands such as Bimbo, Adobe, Omnilife, the UN, HDI, among others. She has worked as an editor on projects like "Acordes" (2020, FICG), "Fuera de Lugar" (2016, International Soccer Film Festival), and "La Elección del Cambio" (2016, Ecofilm Winner), as well as a motion graphic designer on projects like "Ero" (2020, Shorts México) and "El Funk se Liberó" (2021, Documentary Series for Fanko). Currently, in addition to being the creative director at Escena Cuatro, she is developing a documentary short film project as co-director called "The Basic Guide to Down Syndrome."
