Submitter Biography:
I was born in 1999 in Minsk, Belarus. However, facing political repression and persecution following the disputed elections in 2020, I was forced to flee Belarus and move to Vilnius, Lithuania, where I continue to live and work. In June 2022 I received a bachelor's degree in graphic art from the Vilnius Academy of Arts, and in June 2024 I received a master's degree in the same field from the same institution. For more than 10 years I have been developing professionally as an illustrator, and in recent years I have begun to delve deeper into animation. In 2023-2024, I created the idea and animated a short film “Straight and in a Circle”, dedicated to the topic of refugee adaptation in a new place. Besides participated in various master classes, festivals, charity fairs and exhibitions in Lithuania, Belarus, Poland and Austria.
