Synopsis: At dawn, the forest is alive with shadows. Beneath the sprawling canopy, a young man, Jonathan, scrubs at his hands as if trying to erase more than just blood. His sister, Beth, stands nearby, silent and unyielding, gripping a gun and a shovel. Her gloved hands betray no stains, but the weight of their actions clings to them both. Their mother is dead—murdered. A nurse who healed others but couldn’t save herself. When the authorities turned a blind eye, Beth and Jonathan sought their own justice. Now, in the heart of the woods, the deed is done. The man they believed responsible lies buried beneath the earth. But the forest isn’t finished with them. As they search for a way out, shadows of doubt creep in. Did they uncover the truth, or have they made a terrible mistake? Haunted by guilt and fractured by buried secrets, the bond between brother and sister begins to fray. Each step forward feels heavier, the forest closing in as vengeance threatens to consume them. “Obvious to Me” is a taut psychological thriller about love and loyalty, revenge and redemption. It asks: How far would you go for the ones you love? And what if you lose yourself in the process?

Victoria Shefer was born on April 28, 1991. From 2014 to 2019, I studied Media Studies at Humboldt University in Berlin and earned a Bachelor’s degree. I live in Berlin.
